Whoop whoop

On Monday, Sophie, Emily, Betty, Danielle, Jessica and I all hunged out (I know that's bad grammar...I'm being sarcastic.) and slept in the treehouse! It was super fun!

 We watched part of "How to Train your Dragon" and then got bored and decided to go to bed.

In the morning, Sophie and I went to swim practice and the others came and watched us swim.

Then, we all hung out all day and in the evening, it was Emily's birthday party and then the Grambo's pool party! Except there was thunder, so whenever the lifeguards hear thunder, they have to clear the pool for 20 minutes. So there was lots of thunder so we hardly had any time in the pool. :( But it was still fun and there was lots of yummy food. :)

 That night, all of us girls had ANOTHER sleepover at the Grambos for Emily's birthday in a big tent! It was fun and we actually didn't stay up that late because we were all so tired. We fell asleep at about 12:00 and slept until 8:45! So none of us were grumpy at all today! :)

I planned 4 different devotions for different times and they all went really well. I found 4 different songs about "standing" in different ways that were all based on different bible verses so for each one, we would listen to the song, read the verse, then go through the lyrics and then read some more verses and then have a quiet time with a worksheet that they would do themselves. Then, we would all meet back together and have discussion and prayer. It was really really good and everyone else loved it too so that was good. Our topics were about "Standing Surrendered", "Standing Fearless", "Standing Secure" and "Standing Tall".

After we got up, we ate really yummy coffee cake and then just sat around in the tent, did our last bible study, listened to music and talked.
