Hiking, Samish Island and sleeeeeeeeeep

 Yesterday after church, a few of us from youth group went hiking on the trails around Lake Whatcom. Sarah and Hannah and I were the only ones who had done it before and we thought we knew where we were going....but we walked waaaaay too far and couldn't find it even though everything was looking familiar. Weird. So we just picked a different spot to eat lunch and go swimming. We went swimming right next to a rope swing so we got to go off of it and that was really really fun.

Then, right after that, Mom, Maren, Dad and I (Isaac was already there) headed out to Samish Island where our friends, The Hales, have a cabin on the beach!

It was Caleb's birthday so we had yummy food and cake! :) Sophie and Emily and Betty and I all swam a lot and the water was SO WARM! It was incredibly nice!!!!! I loved it! :D

 We swam around and kayaked and tried not to get eaten by sharks because I cut my leg and started bleeding. :(

 When I got home, I was really tired to I slept really well, but I couldn't get to sleep for a long time because I had lots of gas bubbles in my stomach that hurt REALLY bad! It felt like I was getting stabbed with a knife! :(

Today, Isaac and I are going to teach some private lessons to Theo and Penny and two of their friends again.

Then, after that, My book club is coming over and we're going to have a little mini camp and sleep in the treehouse. Then tomorrow is Emily's birthday party so they're staying all day and then we're going to go have a pool party and sleep over at The Grambo's house. So I'll be tired. But it will be really fun. We don't get tired of each other too easily....we can all be together for about...3 days max. until we start getting annoyed so that's good. ;)
