The other day, I was dancing to one of my favorite songs and I landed on my ankle weird. I didn't think much of it, because it stopped hurting after just a little while, so then I went running. Then, the next day, I went running. Then, yesterday, my foot hurt bad.
Dad told me to take it easy and not run! AAAHH!! How can I do that??? My goal was to run everyday!!! :( So I didn't run yesterday, I really want to run today, but I also want my foot to heal (it isn't hurting too bad today).
But another option that I had this weekend was to run the "Runnin' O' the Green" race we have in Bellingham every St. Patrick's Day! But it is this Saturday and I don't know if my foot can take it! I would probably be running the 2.7 mile and not the 5 mile, but still.
Lesson learned: Do not go running on a minor sprain. It will get worse.
Anyway, we'll see.
