Here comes the sun...

 Hallelujah!

We had quiz practice today! After that, Betty and I went to the library and I wore a SKIRT!! Can you believe that?!?!?

YAY! It was the first time I've worn a skirt this year (I think...) and it's great! :D

It was so beautiful and nice out today! It really actually felt like spring is finally here! It made me so happy!

I am glad to see the sun. It's like when you are really tired and need something new to start. That's when the sun comes out and  spreads light over a whole new world that you might not have noticed you're living in because you're so caught up in your schedule. At least, that's the way I felt today.

I was so ready for something new. Then I woke up and saw the sun. Then I saw it.

 ~~At the right time~~

My eyes opened and I saw the light.
The light that I wouldn't have sen if I hadn't had something inside me that woke me up.

God woke me up at the right time.

My eyes opened and I saw the light.
The sun spread light over the world I didn't know was going on around me.

 God gave me the sun.

My eyes opened and I saw the grass.
The sun had given light to the grass. It's new bright green color shone.

The sun had spread light on the flowers.
Breaking through the soil, their buds were colored and ready to burst open.

The world I was living in before was a lot darker.
It's walls were closing in quickly and the water was rising.

The branches I had grown were scratching my heart and the
thorns hurt me.

But when my eyes finally opened, I saw something new.
Just what I needed.

When my eyes finally opened, my life moved.
It moved out of the old world.

My heart was no longer scratchy and the walls were no longer there.
I felt like I could climb any mountain or run any race.

But when you climb and mountain or run a race, you have to finish.
And finish I will.

Because now the sun has come.
Because now the sun has spread light over hope.
And over my dreams that got lost before.

So now I am moving on in the sunlight.
Now I will finish.
One day at a time.
