Orientation

Today is Sehome orientation!

I'm excited to find out what my schedule looks like and meet my teachers. Plus, I get to skip swim practice because of it, so that's always a good thing...;)

I've realized that I love the symbol of an anchor. Not just because it's Sehome's symbol, but because it reminds me of Hebrews 6:19. The one that says "But we have this hope as an anchor for the soul. Firm and secure."

And I intend to hold onto that anchor. This adventure begins in exactly 1 week from today. I'll be sitting in public school for the first time in my life. So here we go. I'm holding on and I'm not letting go.

  1. Yay, Leah! I'm looking forward to hearing your perspective on public school. :)

My parents gave me a necklace with an anchor on it when I was 14, and I still wear it all the time. Such a good reminder...
