I'm back.

  Phew, where to begin, eh?

Monday after swimming started, we went up to Jessica's house for her 13th birthday!

It was suuuper fun and we laughed a lot and got to sleep out on the trampoline! I saw 5 shooting starts!

The Vancouver training trip was awesome. It was a little awkward at first because I didn't really know anybody and since everybody else had already known each other for a year or two or three, it was a little hard to get to know everybody. But thankfully, everyone is suuuper nice and really inclusive.

But I had a really fun van-full of girls. Mom drove and I was in the back with another Freshman, Mckenna, and a sophmore, Nora.  (I actually got to know her because when they were calling off the names, they said "Leah...Nora....etc." and I was like "Heeeeyy..that's my name!"

There were 4 other girls too who were great.

The swimming part was really hard because we were all out of shape. At first, it wasn't too hard but then it got worse because we were all really sore and tired.

I was in a room with 4 other girls. Sophie, Sophie, Katie and Emily. (There are 3 sophie's on the team this year).

One of our outings was to Grandville Island! It was really cool there and the toy store was AMAZING!!!

We had to work out for 1 and 1/2 hours twice a day so that was really tough. We never really felt ready to swim but we pushed through it anyway through our tiredness and soreness.

So it was super fun and I got to know everyone on the team pretty well. Everyone's really awesome.

Then, right after we got home on Friday, we left for our Family Reunion on Treasure Island!

It was really great and so much fun to go water skiing and tubing and just spend time with the family.
