Leavenworrrrttthhhhh!!!!!

Yesterday, we arrived here around 3:40 at the campsite. It rained a lot while we were driving, but cleared up by the time we got to camp. After we set up our tent, we had dinner with The Hales.

Maren and Betty and I set up our own campfire away from the boyscouts. :)
 It was nice to have Betty there. We hung out the whole time and roasted marshmallows and started a really good game of charades.

We all slept pretty bad. My sleeping pad (it's actually Isaac's) was like a rock! I blew it up all the way, so it was hard...oops.

3 of the boys decided to sleep in their hammocks. All hung on top of each other. Isaac is in the middle.

 This morning, Mom and I woke up early and took some of the river-rafters to get ready. Then, they were off! There was actually lots of thunder and a little lightening this morning too.

While they rafted, we took down our camp and got to the end just in time to see them finish. They all had lots of fun. We hung out at the park for a little while and aired out the wet tent. I played some frisbee while Mom and Dad fell asleep, Maren read and Isaac ate. Classic moment for our family.

We just got back from walking around Leavenworth a little and we are checked into our room at The Enzian! As soon as we got back, everyone fell asleep....except me. Another classic family moment. Everyone falls asleep....except me.

 I am so happy to be here and was really ready to come someplace new. It is so beautiful here and is actually getting really hot! The mountains are gorgeous and the goats across the street are still there.

We were planning on going swimming sometime soon, but that was before everyone fell asleep.

One of my most favorite parts of Leavenworth. His name is Carl.

We brought the laptop, so I'm glad I can give you pictures while everyone else is wiped out! :)
