Quote of the day:

*Penny and Felix and I are playing family and are all "asleep"*

*suddenly, Felix "wakes up"*

Felix: "I eeere a tary mon-er!" (I hear a scary monster!)

Penny: "Oh no! You're right, Felix! We have to be really quiet so that it can't come in and jump on us!"

Felix: "No, Penny. It bite."

Penny: "No, Felix, biting is too scary. We need it to just jump."

Leah: "What about if it hugs us or tickles us? That's not scary!"

*They both stare at me for a little while*

Penny: "Well, Leah, you see maybe there might be no such thing as a nice monster. Just one that doesn't hurt very bad."

Leah: "But what about the Tickle Monster? Or the Cookie Monster?"

Penny: "Those aren't actually monsters, they're friends."

Felix: "Yeah, tea. Fwends."

Penny: "Okay so, be quiet because it will come in and jump on us if we aren't really careful."

 *We wait for a while*

Felix: "Penny maybe we need a fwend mon-er. Not tary mon-er. We let it tickle. Not jump."

Leah: "I like that idea too."

Penny: "Okay guys, You win. It will be our friend monster. What else do you want it to do?"

Felix: "Maybe.....give cookies? Or feed mar-mellow?"

(This is one of my favorite parts in The Lorax movie!)
