Adjectives

   In youth group tonight we talked about how we see ourselves and one of the things we did was think of adjectives that we think describe what makes us us.

 So: that said, I encourage you to think of 5 adjectives that you think make you you. You can write them down and put them on your wall or something!

 I know this is hard because then it makes it look like you are a snob or are just thinking of the great things about yourself. But really, when you think about it, you shouldn't think that because God gave you those characteristics and he wants you to share them with others and be who you are with them.  They are God-given gifts.

 Another thing you should do is give your friends, brothers, sisters, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, cousins, husband, wife, child, anyone an adjective that you admire in them that you think makes them who they are. I can tell you one thing: when someone says those things to me, it makes my day because it encourages me to keep practicing that characteristic. To encourage that adjective in my life further.

   Now that you have your mission, go. Go find your inner adjectives. And go share them.
