We just got back from a long day walking all over Verona!
First, we went to a really awesome old castle with a museum inside and you could go all around it.
Then, we went to St. Anastasias cathedral. That was amazingly beautiful. Look it up real quick! Its really cool to be there!
Then, we went to a REALLY awesome Roman fort!! It was incredible to be there and think "wow. A thousand years ago, real Romans walked these streets and sat in this amphitheater and walked down these steps.
After that, we went to one of my favorite places that we've been so far. The Collaseam. It was amazing. Again, we all shared (mostly my dad and I) the feeling of being in the same spot where people rode out on chariots and speared to entrails out of people! it is really big and amazing and as I was there, realization swept over me of just how blessed and privileged we were to be here.
In a little while we will be going to Juiets balcony and then to dinner!
