REGIONALS!!!

WHOO HOO!!!! My weekend was AWESOME!!!! I went to our Bible Quizzing Regionals at Lake Retreat in um, someplace outside of Seattle. It was really really fun! Our team got in the top 3!!! So, for those of you who are un-knowledgeable in what it means to be in the top 3, let me explain. So, Regionals not only hosts all the teams from Whatcom County,  but also from Idaho and other places. This year there were 10 teams there. When you place in the top 3, that means that you're one of the best quiz teams around. But anyway, placing in the top 3 is so much fun because it's up on a big stage and your team gets introduced one quizzer at a time. So, they take a picture of you and then get like, a quote or a fun fact to put with the picture so that when you run down the isle to the stage, there is a picture of you on the big screen. But that's not all! When you run down there is a tunnel of people around you like, you know when everyone wants to give you high-fives while you run? well, they stand on either side in a line, and hold out their hands. Okay, so I was in the back of the sanctuary and the loud music was playing and the light were flashing, and I was really nervous and stuff when he shouted " And here we have......LEEEEEEAAAAH! DAAAAAY!!" and then I ran out and down the tunnel slapping people's hands and everyone was cheering and stuff.  And When the top 3 quizzing started, I got a couple verses! All in all, it was loud. But regionals itself is fabulous. I got to spend a lot if time laughing and being weird with my friends and boating and eating and talking in my sleep etc.. I always have hated having to come home after a long time living with all your friends and having fun like that. But I guess it's for the best. I had fun and we had amazing devotions and a horrible skit  and I learned so much about who God is and who I am. Hey, Betty, did you see my stomach? And Hey, Laura, you owe me so many Starbursts! Have you thrown up yet?  I love regionals.
