Great Wolf Lodge

Hi there!

This Sunday after church I left to go to Great Wolf Lodge in a place kinda by Olympia for my cousin, Sophie's birthday. I really love my two cousins, The Johnsons, because I am right in the middle of their ages. (Sophie is 15, Mallory is 11.) And  love my Aunt and Uncle. they're super nice and funny! I am really really close to Mallory (Mojo) and we're like, best cousins. They travel a lot and a lot, so when Mallory wants someone to come with them, she usually asks "can Leah come with us?" which I love love, because I love traveling and I love them, so it's super fun! this time, Sophie was inviting three of her school friends that were a lot older than Mojo, so she asked if I could come. of course, I said yes and we were off. Now, for those of you who never heard of Great Wolf Lodge I would describe it as HUGE. when you drive up there are Wolf carvings about the size of my house. I could live in the statues head. but anyway, the Lodge has an indoor water park. it has a wave pool, activities, water slides, etc... but one of the water slide was called "The Howling' Tornado" this one was the scariest and the most intense. I LOVED IT!! When Mallory and I first went down, we went together. (that was the only option.) When we got into the tube, it was fine, but we got pushed down with Mallory facing backwards. the beginning was fine, but then we came to a straight-down drop off. I was facing straight ahead so I could see it, but Mojo, on the other hand, could only see my terrified face and hear my "oh.... my... gosh." then, suddenly we dropped straight down and were plunged into a HUGE open space where we were tossed this way and that, sliding up the sides and being totally freaked out. Mallory's bottoms of her swimsuit fell down, and I got a horrible wedgie. It was the best water slide I've ever been on! we were a bit shaken when we got off, but hen we went five more times! It was great! I loved the Lodge and it was super fun! this was really long, but if you made it to reading this far, you're a trooper!

  1. Wow that sounds crazy-great! I've actually read about that water slide before! I am a roller coaster fan, but since we haven't been traveling by airplane for 4 or 5 years because of Audrey but my Dad and I used to like going on the California Screamer (at California Adventure Park) and the Twilight Zone of Terror (it was really more funny than terrifying! Is was also at CA Adventure Park.)Are you into roller coasters, too?
