Sitting and waiting.

This morning Mom and I went to Sehome and met with our counselor to get our registration finished. I signed up for my classes and for now, it's all set up.

I saw friends and I got to stop and see Ham and Sar during lunch which was fun too!

After that I had math and then, since Isaac sat through my registration, I had to go to Whatcom and sit through his Running Start meeting.

Mom will be all alone next year with me at Sehome and Isaac at Whatcom and Maren at college! But she always finds things to do! :)

I am lots more excited about finishing school now and totally ready for summer. I just want to be done and stop doing homework and stop going to classes and driving around. But I have to finish first. I have to sit. And I have to wait.

Sitting and waiting isn't one of my strongest suits, even though I did it all day today. Sure, I can do it, it's possible for me, but that doesn't mean I like it. I am not a patient person. That makes summer come slower.

I keep counting off my days and waking up everyday saying "Okay, here's another one,  I've gotta get out there and do the best I can." Whenever we had a test for school or anything and we weren't feeling good about it, my dad always said "Did you do the best you could?" and we would say "Yeah." and he would say "That's perfect because that's all you can do."

All I can do is the best I can do. So I might as well get out there and face the world with courage.

Bring it on.
