Back to life.

 The recital went really well.

There were more than 60 people that came and Maren did awesome!!

We had our entire family (including extended on my moms side) and lots of good friends we are very blessed to have.

Our teacher, Andrea, giving a little speech at the beginning

Hanging with Ozzie during intermission

Maren also played a song on her banjo and sang with it! (She wrote the song!)

The food eating began afterwards...

myyyyyyy sister.

Of course, grandchillun' picture time! (including both our in-laws the Sarahs!)

EVERYONE! (I love my family.)

Our family is basically like this all the time...we're pretty weird..but really awesomely weird.

Classic grandchillun' (as grandma calls us) line-up. It used to be tallest to smallest when it was oldest to youngest, but now it's all topsy-turvy!

Funny face with Sarah and Sarah in the picture too!

So, I had fun and I was really glad to see the fam again! They all came to our house afterwards and we celebrated and ate good food and laughed a lot.

One thing you need to know about my family is that it's big, we all laugh all the time, we are all sarcastic and we all are our own person. No one is alike.  I think that is what makes our family so special. Everyone brings a different flavor to our family.

So now I have to get back to my life. The fun is over, and so is spring break. Man, I need to find something new to get excited about! :)

"I am trying my best to stay optimistic and excited about not knowing too! Not knowing what's around the corner. Not knowing what life will throw at me next. And knowing for sure that no matter what, God will give me the strength I need to keep moving forward."
