Good ol' Tuesdays!

Today I had a science class which went...okay. Afterwards, I got to go to the Lewis' and play with the kids.

Ozzie was really smiley (as always) and laughed a lot for me. Penny and Felix and I decided to have a dress-up dance party, so Felix put on his adorable lion costume and went around scaring Ozzie with all his "rawr-ing". Penny decided to be a fairy-assistant to me, even though I had a cape and not wings.

After we dancing like that for a bit, Penny changed into her swim suit and Felix changed into Penny's very floofy pink tu-tu. It was super cute! :) We swam around on the living room floor for a while until we decided to take a break and watch Theo play football.

Mr. Felix

The greatest smile/laugh the world has ever seen. If the sun wasn't right on his face, you could see his great dimples. :)

I watch the kids and wish I could go back to being that age where I didn't have to worry about school or the classic "this' and that's" of a teenage life. Sure some of you are reading this and thinking "she has no idea..." but hey, I'm young, but I still have annoying things in my life that, when you're 3, you just don't have.

I look at the smiles and laughs of the little kids and, when I decide to laugh with them, I can be 3 too.

Some people look at me and see immaturity. And that may be true. But I look at me and see imagination. And I'm keeping it. I live in a world of my own that has sunshine and rainbows. And It makes me happy when other people can see that too. That doesn't mean my life is perfect all the time. It most certainly isn't. But sunshine and rainbows give me a thing called hope. And that makes my life feel better.

So for those of you out there who have grown up too fast--being a kid still works. Believe me. I'm still a kid and I think life is much more eventful this way.

  1. 2 things: what happened to Felix's head? and in the last picture you look like you have really dark brown hair!

  2. Felix ran into his door frame and got a big cut on his forehead. He had to go to the ER and they glued it, but it isn't slowing him down at all! :)
