My Weekend.

I just got back from The Firs Chalet with my youth group!

It was really really really really really really really really super fun.

We sledded and ate food and got sick and played TONS of card games and just hung out!

The assistant youth leader, Brie, got really sick with a fever and everything so she had to go home so in the girls room, it was only us FPC girls!

It was, in my opinion, better than last year since this was with the High School kids and last year was with the Middle Schoolers. Everything this year just seemed more organized and mature and it was great.

My friends, Josh and Zach (twins) who I do swim team with (Josh is on the Sehome swim team with Isaac too) were there too which was cool to hang out with them again and I also made new friends too and had all the girls from my youth group and lots of other youth groups were there too!

I totally lost my voice on Sunday and I sounded like a duck. My voice was cracking with like, everything I said and it was awful. But it is coming back and I hope I can have it back by tomorrow! But for now, I still sound like a duck.

The card games were an adventure because so many people had so many different ideas of what they wanted to play. I taught a few people how to play the game "Jackpot" (It's a fun card game) and so we played that a lot.

The game we always remember from the Firs is "Emperor and Scum" and so we played that and it....didn't work out very well... Mostly, we tried and tried but there was always somebody who really didn't get it at all. Zach taught some of us how to play "Mao" (Pronounced "Mow") which was pretty fun but...I can't really say anything or else I would get a card for discussing the rules. (I can only kinda understand the rules, but even then, I can't say anything. Sorry. Don't even ask.)

The snow was up to my waist in most parts that weren't packed down and it was pretty powdery. Suicide Hill was as steep as ever and mostly what happens is you go down it.....and then you eventually stop at the bottom either sitting on your tube or not with 5,000,000 gallons of snow in your face and down your pants. It's pretty cool.

If you've ever been to The Firs Chalet you'll know that is has a game room downstairs with carpet ball and the best hot chocolate in the world. Those were definitely some highlights.

The speaker was from Canada and was really good. He spoke about being in a relationship with God and listening to him. The singing was really good and it got pretty crazy with the fun songs! "Pharaoh, Pharaoh" was by far one of my favorites during which Josh, Zach and I were the ones conquering the hand motions.

I had lots of fun this weekend if you couldn't tell by everything I just wrote. I got a little sore throat and runny nose but I got a little better on Saturday afternoon.

Breakfast
The FPC group! Zoe, Alli, Robby, Jackie, Hannah, Isaac, Sarah, Me, Tray.
(Tray isn't in our youth group, but he was in the picture anyway)

Sarah and I sat in the snow and judged the sledding! :)

Suicide Hill and some sledders!

This video is of me tubing down suicide hill. It was really bumpy and it hurt. It is in slow motion because Isaac was experimenting with his slow motion camera effects.

I had lots of fun this weekend. Great songs. Great snow. Great message. Great people.
