At my group lesson for piano today, I felt one of the most overwhelming feeling things I've ever felt. But it wasn't a bad overwhelming. On the contrary, it was the most peaceful I have ever felt. The teacher had us sit down and close our eyes. Then she turned on Bach's Prelude in C major and we just listened to it and let it fill us up. Afterwards, she said "When you listened to that piece of music, what scene was in your mind?" ( i.e. running through a field, swimming in the ocean, the top of a mountain, etc...) A lot of us (including me) thought of the ocean, but I also had several thought run through my head of really happy moments.*
As you listen to this music (See video below) I encourage you to close your eyes and just see what the music brings to your mind or watch the pictures on the slideshow! I also think that turning the lights off would help. It does for me, anyway!
*(Kind of like that scene in Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix when he went through all of the laughing scenes and good times with friends, etc)
